Friday Night Football
Summer of 2014 - Under 9 Girls Football at Worthing Town FC on a Friday Night. They all spent the week, looking forward to football on a Friday Night. I love the determination in their faces as they charge after the ball as if nothing else in life matters. That is one of the best things about sport, you can switch off, no matter how old you are, switch off from school, from work, from life and for that special moment of time when you are on the pitch and the wind is whistling around you, all that matters is chasing down that football. There was a great team spirit at Friday Night Football, the older girls looked after the younger girls. My daughter was one of the Friday Night Footballers.....It was Happy Daze. On the evening I took these photos, there was a huge storm brewing you can see the cloudes getting more and more grey.
